She graduated at University of Primorska Faculty of Humanities with a doctorate in philosophy and theory of visual culture (titled Understanding The End of Art – from Hegel to Danto, 2007, mentor: prof. dr. Aleš Erjavec), in which she comprehends the sphere of philosophy, philosophy of art and philosophy of culture and deals with modern philosophy, and the paradigms of modernity, which also lead to the conclusion the art has ended - a revised version is published in a monograph. In 2008 she got Bartol's award for her PhD thesis at UP FHS. In 2001 she got her Master's degree in sculpture at the Academy for Fine Arts in Ljubljana (in her MA thesis she deals with philosophy of perception), where she also graduated from painting in 1999. In 2006 she got Golden Bird 2005 award for heterogeneous activity in visual arts, in 2000 she got student Prešeren award for painting, in 2001 Rotary Club award for sculpture as a perspective student, in 2006 an award for short prose Spletno Pero and in 2007 a Preglej award for her drama text The Waiting Room. During her PhD study she was receiving scholarship of the Slovenian Ministry of Culture for the exceptionally talented students for a deficiency profession art critic and analytic. In 2009 she was nominated for Prešeren fund award, the most reputable award in Slovenia.
