In the moment she is publishing a monograph on Transart. Culture and Art in Contemporary Global Conditions (Goga, 2009). In 2009 she has published a monographs titled Konec umetnosti - genealogija modernega diskurza: od Hegla k Dantu / The End of Art - Genealogy of Modern Discourse: from Hegel to Danto), continuously publishes scientific articles (check bibliography) and regularly presents papers at scientific symposiums, including Art and Science (UNAM, Mexico City, 2009), VII. International Congress for Aesthetics, Ankara (2007), III. Mediterranean Congress for Aesthetics, Portorož (2006), colloquiums of the Slovenian Society of Aesthetics: Philosophy of Art and Literature: China/Slovenia, Slovenia/China (UP FHS, 2009), Art, Subversion, and Madness (ZRC SAZU, 2008), Aesthetics in Slovenia (Škuc, 2007) etc. She edited monographs: Art: Resistance, Subversion, Madness (Monitor ZSA, Annales, University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre of Koper), Prostori umetnosti (= Spaces/Places of Art, Ljubljana: Društvo inovatorjev Ljubljana, 2002), and New Species (Ljubljana: Zavod K6/4, 2005), and is a field editor for anthropology of culture and contemporary art at an anthropological magazine Monitor ZSA (Annales, University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre of Koper), in the past she was a co-editor of the professional magazine Likovne beside (= Art Words), Nr. 63 – 68 (Ljubljana: ZDSLU, 2003/04). She established a magazine for philosophy of art titled Horizonti (= Horizons), Nr. 1–2, 2004).

From 2009 to 2011 she works on a postdoctoral research on Critical, Resistance, and Activist Strategies in Contemporary Art and Culture (a research on critical approaches and resistance practices in art and culture under the conditions of global capitalism) at the Institute for Mediterranean Humanistic and Social Studies (University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre of Koper). At the Institute for Intercultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities Koper, she ia member of a research group that works on a project titled Problems of Philosophical Epistemology of Interculturality: An Analysis of Chinese Modernity and Contemporaneity. Furthermore she is a leader of an transdisciplinary project In Vitro and Transspecies (a leader of the biotechnological part is asist. prof. dr. Miomir Kneževič), which is being performed by Faculty of Humanities Koper, Blood Transfusion Centre (Centre for Typification of Tissue), Society for Tissue and Cell Engineering, and Kapelica Gallery. In these research projects she deals with contemporary critical art in China, contemporary art technologies and procedures under global conditions, and with an analysis of humanistic aspects of the phenomena of controlled cultivation of human hair in secondary contexts.

As a researcher she works in the fields of philosophy of culture, philosophy of arts, contemporary art and film, contemporary critical and resistance strategies in art in culture, with bio art (she is one of the world pioneers of bio art as well), with cultural studies, new media, media studes etc.
